18 U.S.C. § 2257 COMPLIANCE STATEMENT

In compliance with 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75, SCREW Network maintains the following policy regarding records for visual depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct.

SCREW Network LLC serves as the designated custodian of records for materials produced by SCREW Network for which recordkeeping requirements apply.

Exempt Materials

Not all material appearing on SCREW Network is subject to the recordkeeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257.

Many visual depictions available through the Service are exempt because they do not portray actual sexually explicit conduct as defined by federal law, including but not limited to:

Editorial content
News reporting
Interviews
Commentary
Artistic works
Parody
Satire
Simulated sexual activity
Computer-generated imagery
Licensed materials produced before the effective dates of the applicable regulations
Materials otherwise exempt under federal law

Third-Party Content

Where SCREW Network distributes or displays content produced by third parties, the records required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257 are maintained by the respective producers of that content, where applicable.

SCREW Network relies upon the representations and warranties of its licensors and content providers regarding compliance with applicable federal recordkeeping laws.
